Si se aprende las partes del cuello, podrá entender mejor su problema. Los huesos del cuello se denominan vértebras cervicales, comúnmente identificadas como C1 a C7.Juntas forman una columna ósea llamada columna vertebral. Las vértebras también protegen la médula espinal, la cual es una vía para que los mensajes lleguen al cerebro. Alrededor de la columna vertebral hay tejidos blandos como músculos, tendones y nervios.
