Enfermedad de las arterias coronarias (EAC)

La EAC es una enfermedad que afecta las arterias de su corazón. Estas arterias suministran oxígeno y nutrientes al músculo cardíaco. En ocasiones, una sustancia grasa llamada "placa" se acumula sobre las paredes internas de estas arterias. Este proceso se llama aterosclerosis.
